How is the cpanel DNS or any other DNS module working for you so far in Hostbill?

Is it buggy or its more or less stable?

Working good for us so far. We are in the middle of QA with HB but not show stoppers yet.

Thanks, I tested this quickly and it seems to work, but I was planning on putting it on production, just for basic record management. Which one did you used? Cpanel or PowerDNS one? I assume both work fine.

Thanks for the feedback.

PowerDNS. We have also been using the OnAppDNS for end client who just want anycasted DNS.

Never liked the cpanel DNS.

cPanel DNS is just a GUI for BIND, so nothing wrong with using it, you can still modify records manually and sync them without it.

Personally I prefer the GUI webmin puts on bind for clustering, records, etc.

If I am using bind I prefer just to do it with the command line. Call me old fashioned.  ;D

Sure, that is not a problem for sys admins, and when something goes wrong, command line is the safest play, but you can't expect your customers to do it, in particular when they only need to be restricted to their own records.

Its about providing easy management for customers, not me.
