Like many said, i think they wanting to cash out and close KBKP, all signs to this.

Well it's Friday and no sign of an update yet.

It was released with 2 new order pages.

I miss getting the updates considering I had 9 months left.

Maybe Kris will make pre-sales free soon and then bring back more reasonably priced support. :)

At the time it wasn't.  We opted not to renew May 1st and glad we didn't.  What's the point now?  For example, you're now 9 months left and you get the same updates i do now for free.  He could make pre-sales free but i don't believe it'll change anything.  Their reputation is already pretty tarnished among many in this industry.  To be honest, i do not know how after everything they still have people loyal to the brand.   It's crazy.

So now everyone is getting free updates?

Patrick you big meany, why did you suggest cPanel be a Premium module?

I'm going to suggest KBKP does not start charging for the Hexonet module, as I know the current version wasn't written by them.  OMG!  A 3rd Party App!

Does anyone actually know what "HostBill" at $600 does?

You know, I think Kris would have made a great hockey player.  If he could move a puck the way he moves prices...

What say we all start doing that to our customers:

Today Hosting =$5/m tomorrow no monthly fees, just annual at $700, next Wednesday maybe we'll go back to $5/m for cPanel but charge $5 to use Softaculous to install WorPress, want Joomla too? No Problem Softaculous can do that for only $5 more!  Oh you want email too?

Yeah, everyone is getting free updates now and i never suggested cPanel become a premium module lol.  I think it's stupid that it is and something so basic cost $199.95

Looks like I misunderstood your comment:

...
Provisioning modules should never cost money.  Why is cPanel free, but Interworx is not?  You'd think cPanel would cost a premium if going this route.  Just too many questionable decisions.
...

Just giving you a hard time.  :D

I know ...I could have continued yanking your chain saying I suggested to kris it go premium but I don't think the backlash would have been pleasant lol

You should get free updates for all modules you already own or future ones which you purchased. Features and bug fixes would be free. Those prices are pay to own.

Nibb, I was asking what is included in the $600.  If I was to buy a license, what do I get?  But there is another thread about this now, and I think the answer is "not much" ($600).

Something new today and though it's almost there, the fact they "expire" the plans is where they are going wrong..... again not to mention the pricing isn't even thought out LOL!!
It's cheaper to buy multiple 15 ticket plans then the 50 ticket plan haha. Or that the 5 ticket and 15 ticket plans are identical prices.

So busy trying to shovel money in every possible avenue, they aren't even opening a calculator to do proper math at the very least

5 tickets, someone should let them know is $195, not $199 at $39
15 tickets does not equal $199 at $26 a ticket.  It's $390

And they simply rounded the 50 tickets.  If this doesn't tell/show anyone that they put no actual thought in to their plans when they deploy them, i don't know what will.

Simple overlooking of math. :)

Well, $20 per ticket is definitely better than $75. We should come up with an "Ambassador" and all contribute towards a general "Ticket Fund" lol. :P

I'd absolutely join this in a blink of an eye but they expire.  If they change the expiration i'd be all in

Well, the last plan expires in 12 months so it's not all that bad.

I needed support once in the last 14 months, and that was to report a bug technically in the stripe module that was affecting business.  12 Months would most likely mean i'd be donating rather than contributing for my own use as well.  Support shouldn't expire, if they are paid by ticket, it should be absolutely as long as you have that set # of tickets.  That's why i started my thread saying "They are getting there" just not there yet

I also see this as a sign of progress.

It might even work out financially; paid support for free (no-renewals) software.  This business model works for Canonical.

They've also updated/corrected the pricing table:

Anyone signup when 15 tickets were $199?
