Explorer 10 chat bug

Can someone tell me if you have this on your installation?

There is an option to enabled the chat link in the hostbill menu, for those that do not have it activated.

This link basically just goes to a page that reloads and opens the chat popup windows.

It works fine except in Explorer, it opens the chat popup and it keeps opening one after another. Its a loop error, instead of just opening one chat windows, it keeps refreshing itself and opening one after another.

IE 10.

Can someone try to replicate this?

Lawrence

Yes, it happens to me as well. Clients have already complained regarding this. It only happens when clients click on the live chat option in the menu though, and only when live chat is active.

Note: This happens because of popups being blocked. It doesn't affect my clients that have popups enabled in their browsers, or if they've added an exception to their browsers for my website.

[edit]

This happens in Chrome / Internet Explorer. I'm not sure if it affects Firefox.

That is strange. It does not happen in Chrome, Firefox, etc in my case. Just IE10

I will try the pop blocker.

Was this reported as bug already to Hostbill?

Lawrence

I have not reported it yet to HostBill's bug report center. I'm going to compile a list of bugs and report them all at once, I'm currently having issues logging into the bug report area. (Probably a bad password)
